Guests describe what they want.
Kurt finds the matching room.
HeyKurt is connected to the GauVendi Sales Engine (ISE) through the Partner Hub. A question in the chat becomes a feature-based search with real availability – and that becomes a booking.
Requires the GauVendi Sales Engine
Do you have two nights in early May, quiet side, with a balcony?
Two products match: balcony facing the garden, quiet floor. Available on 3 and 8 May.
HeyKurt
AI assistant in the guest chat
Kurt answers guest questions around the clock – on your website, via QR code on site and over WhatsApp. It knows your guest directory, FAQs and house information and replies in the guest's language.
GauVendi
Sales Operating Platform for hospitality
GauVendi breaks rigid room categories down into features: floor, view, bed type, amenities. Every physical unit becomes several bookable products, each with its own pricing logic.
The guest asks in their own words, Kurt translates it into features, GauVendi returns the matching products with availability and price.
Room categories don't answer guest questions
Guests search by properties, not by category names. That is exactly where the classic booking path breaks.
Guests ask about features
"Double Room Comfort" says nothing about a balcony, about the quiet side of the building or about a bathtub. Yet that is what guests ask for.
No answer means the booking goes elsewhere
Whoever doesn't find the answer on your site calls, writes an email or books through an OTA. Your front desk answers the same questions every day.
Features are revenue
View, floor, balcony and bed type can be priced individually. Feature-based products create finer price steps than a category grid – and sell exactly what the guest wants.
From a sentence in the chat to a booking in the Sales Engine
Four steps, no second search form.
The guest asks in plain language
"Do you have two nights in early May, quiet side, with a balcony?" – in the website widget, via the QR code in the room or over WhatsApp.
Kurt translates it into features
Free text becomes structured criteria: dates, length of stay, balcony, quiet location. Kurt asks back itself when something is missing.
The Partner Hub returns the products
Kurt queries matching products, availability and prices through the open GauVendi Partner Hub REST API – live from the Sales Engine, not from a maintained catalogue.
Handover to the ISE
Kurt shows the matches and hands over to the Sales Engine with dates, features and rate pre-filled. Payment, confirmation and PMS sync run in GauVendi as usual.
Questions that used to end up at the front desk
Do you have a room with a bathtub and a park view?
Yes. On 3 and 8 May a room with a bathtub facing the park is available, from €189 per night. Shall I show you both dates?
Where the answer comes from
Kurt checks the features "bathtub" and "park view" against live availability in the GauVendi Partner Hub.
Can we bring the dog, and what does it cost?
Dogs are welcome, one per room. The fee is €15 per night and is added as an extra during booking.
Where the answer comes from
The house rule comes from your guest directory, the fee and its bookability from the Sales Engine.
What is the difference between these two offers?
Both have a double bed. The pricier one is on the 4th floor with a balcony facing the garden, the cheaper one on the ground floor facing the courtyard.
Where the answer comes from
Kurt compares the features of both GauVendi products: floor, view, balcony.
We arrive by train – how far is it from the station?
It is 1.2 km from the main station. Bus line 4 runs every 10 minutes to Marktplatz, from there it is 300 metres to us.
Where the answer comes from
Arrival details from your house knowledge, timetable from the live data source.
How the integration is built
Partner Hub REST API
APIHeyKurt reads products, features, availability and prices through the open GauVendi REST interface – as a live data source next to your house knowledge.
Sales Engine (ISE)
BookingThe booking stays in GauVendi. Kurt hands over pre-filled to the Sales Engine instead of putting a second booking flow next to it.
House knowledge and live data in one answer
KnowledgeGuest directory, FAQs and website provide the context, the Partner Hub provides availability. That lets Kurt answer questions that need both.
PMS in the background
PMSGauVendi has two-way integrations with apaleo, Mews and Oracle Opera Cloud. HeyKurt needs no PMS interface of its own.
Hosted in Germany
GDPRHeyKurt runs on German servers, guest data stays in the EU. Booking data continues to be processed by GauVendi.
